About the Education for CWD Foundation

The Education for Children with Diabetes Foundation (ECWDF) is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Federal Tax ID is 35-2243334. The mission of ECWDF is to support activities related to education for and about children with diabetes. This includes but is not limited to funding scholarships for diabetes education conferences and higher education.

Since 2004, we have awarded almost 40 scholarships for Families to attend the annual Children with Diabetes Friends for Life Conference.

Our activities are supported through the generous donations of corporations and individuals.
